Restore the Old in Style:

We specialize in the restoration of century homes in the Kingston area.  We can rebuild / restore or add new exterior porches, railings, steps, entrance ways and historical trim to match your existing home.  We can also do the same thing to interior family rooms, bedrooms or kitchens and bathrooms.  Remove a wall, move or add a door, change your floor plan, think the impossible, that's our specialty and we'll make it look like the house was built that way 100 years ago.  We can do full or partial upgrades to bathrooms and  kitchens  or just install a dishwasher.  We also install skylights, new windows or upgrade the old with replacement window inserts.

Renovate and Upgrade the Old to Meet Your Changing Needs:

If you have a new or newer home we can also do the same thing in a more modern style.  The requirements of homes and living spaces change as our lives change and often it is well worth the expense to enjoy many more years in your current home rather than move and end up modifying your new home anyway.

Materials and Craftsmanship:

In historic homes we restore where possible or replicate using the original materials, which in this area is generally pine or cedar.  We do not as rule use any particle board or MDF (saw dust board) in historic homes.  We can replicate gingerbread trim, spindles,  newel posts, railings, baseboards, window / door trim,  etc, either in house or on sub-contract basis.  We can finish your project ready to paint or we can also do the painting.
